About the Role
Based at the UOW Liverpool Campus this position plays a key part in empowering students to navigate their futures with confidence. As a Student Careers Officer you will deliver high quality career development learning (CDL) employability services and initiatives that directly enhance graduate employability. Your work will span one to one student consultations workshops programs and resource development all designed to enrich the student experience and strengthen graduate outcomes.
Guided by the Team Leader Student Careers Services you will also contribute to the creation and refinement of innovative programs and resources that respond to the evolving needs of UOW students. Collaboration is central to this role youll work closely with colleagues across the Academic Services Division and broader student support teams to ensure students receive seamless proactive support.
This position is based at the UOW Liverpool Campus and will also contribute to Careers Services and offerings at our Sutherland and Sydney CBD campuses. Regular travel between these metropolitan locations is an expected part of the role.

You bring relevant qualifications and experience strong knowledge of higher education and employability and a commitment to advancing graduate employability through evidence informed practice. You build effective relationships with students staff and industry partners communicate clearly collaborate well manage projects confidently and use data tools to inform your work. You value inclusive culturally respectful practice and are committed to helping students thrive.
