The Principal Enterprise Architect provides strategic and technical leadership in the development and evolution of enterprise architecture frameworks that align information systems infrastructure and applications with business processes and data. This role enables improved efficiency scalability and productivity across the organization by ensuring technology investments support current and future business and clinical objectives.
The Principal Enterprise Architect leads the analysis of the current IT environment to identify gaps risks and optimization opportunities and defines target-state architectures reference models standards patterns and roadmaps that guide enterprise transformation. This role evaluates system interactions dependencies total cost of ownership and return on investment to inform architectural decisions and technology direction.
With a primary focus on Clinical Systems and supporting other enterprise initiatives as capacity allows the Principal Enterprise Architect collaborates across application domain solution infrastructure and security architecture teams to deliver balanced enterprise-wide architectural outcomes. The role provides governance oversight mentors architects and engineers and serves as a trusted advisor to leadership on architectural strategy cloud adoption and emerging technologies.
Bachelors Degree Preferred
8 years of relevant experience with a degree
10 years of relevant experience without a degree
Preferred AWS/Azure/Google Professional Architect Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA).
