We are currently seeking a Senior Architect to join our San Francisco studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Architectural Projects: Manage the full architectural process from schematic design to construction administration on a variety of project types ensuring every detail aligns with design intent and project goals.
Construction Administration: Act as the primary liaison during construction conducting site visits leading owner/contractor meetings and resolving on-site challenges with confidence and expertise.
Mentorship and Leadership: Oversee and mentor junior staff fostering their growth while ensuring high-quality design and technical standards are met across all project phases.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Present design concepts and project updates to clients general contractors and review boards ensuring transparency and collaborative problem-solving.
Legal and Code Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant building codes fire regulations zoning laws and accessibility requirements maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants coordinating project deliverables to maintain design integrity and technical accuracy.
Qualifications :
Architectural Expertise: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture with 10 years of professional experience.
Licensing: Registered Architect or eligibility to complete the ARE. LEED accreditation is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Strong command of AutoCAD Revit and BIM software (Dynamo Grasshopper). 3D modeling expertise is essential.
Construction Administration Experience: Proven track record of managing construction processes on large-scale projects from design detailing to on-site coordination.
Technical Excellence: Ability to resolve complex design and construction issues while maintaining the integrity of the projects vision.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams mentor junior architects and communicate effectively across all levels.
Passion for Design: A genuine passion for architecture and a commitment to delivering innovative sustainable and technically sound designs.
