AWS Engineer

Kadiak LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an AWS Engineer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer at Clarksburg WV. This is a hybrid position requires 3days onsite 2days offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cloud platforms automation tools and infrastructure as code with a passion for problem-solving and delivering efficient solutions to support existing IT application software on Unclassified Secret and Top-Secret Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:In-depth knowledge of platforms like AWS including services like EC2 S3 Lambda VPC certifications (e.g. AWS Certified SysOps Associate) are a and/or Linux background preferredMore specifically the person selected should be able to do some or all of the following:Windows AdministrationProficient in managing users groups and policies within Active to automate administrative tasks using PowerShell in installing configuring and updating Windows Server of DHCP DNS and file/print services in Windows of Windows security features including firewalls and access to learn custom in house applications to provide Application Support especially in case of a disaster recovery and troubleshoot application dataflows with tools such as Splunk and as Code (IaC):Implement and manage infrastructure as code using AWS version control and proper documentation of AWS infrastructure and Performance Optimization using tools (e.g. CloudWatch Prometheus Splunk).Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant and resolve performance bottlenecks optimize resource utilization and ensure system Skills and Competencies:3 years experience with Python or Typescript/JavascriptExperience integrating multiple 3rd party libraries togetherExperience being in a continuous integration and continuous deployment processUnderstanding of security vulnerabilities/complianceUnderstanding of basic web application architectureAdditional Requirements:2 years related experience with AWS GCP or AzureExperience with AWS (e.g. CloudFormation Lambda Step Functions SDK/boto3)Experience in continuous integration technology (e.g. GitLab GitHub Azure Devops)Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with PolyAbility to work on-site in Clarksburg WV (3 days per week)Strong documentation and communication abilitiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEducation:Bachelors degree in related fieldClearance Requirement:TS/SCI security clearanceOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
