Cloud Engineer Architect

As a Cloud Engineer you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing an enterprise cloud environment servicing more than 10000 Users. Assist in the engineering development and administration of a federal enterprise cloud Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Participate in technical project review meetings to ensure technical designs meet the clients operational requirements and infrastructure/security and maintain cloud resources for an enterprise cloud environment (network storage compute)Automate infrastructure migrations to cloud environments and identify on-premises technologies and their cloud compliance with incidents problems and change management procedures and execute ticket-based requests with little or no additional on results and be delivery oriented with a keen interest in quality and the ability to meet Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Must have a valid Drivers LicenseAt least 4 years of progressive experience administering designing and engineering cloud fundamental knowledge of cloud technology and enterprise IT systemsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgmentExperience deploying resources into and running workloads in Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft AzureAbility to clearly translate technical requirements and concepts in a manner that appeals to a wide working independently with minimal supervision and with operating systems and software: upgrade planning and implementationFundamental knowledge of and experience working in a DevOps centric environmentExperience with CI/CD pipelines automation tools code promotion processes and methodologiesExperience with scripting languages such as python json YAML or othersExperience with deploying infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation templates Azure ARM templates Chef Terraform or other automation degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or related field or equivalent experiencePreferred Not required:Amazon Web Services Associate or Professional Level certificationsMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect Developer DevOps Engineer or similarClearance Requirement:TS/SCI security clearance requiredOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
