Job Highlights:

Starting Pay: $70000/yr

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human services field
  • 3 years of experience with children/youth/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis in a residential setting.
  • Two years of experience in leadership with progressing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid and managed care.

Other Preferred Qualifications/Education:

  • Masters degree in human services field

This Opportunity:

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Director of Operations Child Crisis Services is to provide onsite daily management of the PRTF and assist the Director of the PRTF. This role will function as a leader among the Lead Behavioral Technicians and Behavioral Technicians ensuring frontline processes are efficient and effective ensuring excellent communication flows freely between leadership and the direct floor staff and ensuring quality care is provided to the youth served. This person must be able to provide flexible work hours including nights and weekends as needed.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist the Director in managing daytoday facility operations ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
  • Manage staff e.g. hire supervise onboard performance and train lead and behavioral technician staff. Ensure that coaching rounding disciplinary action is completed as required. Implement onboarding process to ensure that staff are trained appropriately and completed accurately on training reports.
  • Provide staffing coverage to ensure that the unit is staffed to meet the needs of the youth on all shifts 24/7/365 including preparing and posting staff schedule. Ensure utilization of positions assigned in schedule are meeting the needs of the individuals served are in ratio meet DHSR compliance and acuity.
  • Communicates with shift leadership and local leadership with process or staffing issues participates in problem-solving and proposing viable solutions to issues and ensures all processes are supportive of superior quality care.
  • Collaborate with clinical nursing and educational teams to support individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain physical plant of the crisis center. Completes work orders as needed and ensure crisis center maintains compliance with DHSR licensure regulations.
  • Complete administrative functions timely and accurately such as but not limited to timesheets for payroll EIFs fire drills ordering needed supplies etc.
  • Assist with crisis response ensuring safe and appropriate interventions consistent with policy and training.
  • Work with clients and families along with other team members to ensure crisis stabilization provides individuals receiving services with a safe and supportive environment consistent with recovery concepts and person-centered and treatment planning.
  • Coordinate and/or implement skill level activities involving the care treatment and training of individuals receiving crisis services.
  • Assist with admissions discharges and census management processes.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Complete documentation in EHR as required.
  • Maintain current licensure and certification in all agencies state and federal training requirements
  • Maintain training as required and requested
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
  • Participate in on call and after-hours coverage including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
  • Driving and travel may be required

Education Were Looking For:

Bachelors: Human Services (Required) Masters: Human Services

Certifications Were Looking For:

Drivers License (Valid) - USA

Experience Were Looking For:
