. This on-site contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.
In this role you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality emergency medical care. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient operation of our emergency department managing a diverse array of patient cases and ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and treatments for patients in emergency situations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and families on health management and prevention
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in procedures and surgeries as required
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a high-pressure fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Annual Volume: 85k patients at one ED 15k patients other ED
Must be board-certified
