Level 2 Nurture Teaching Assistant permanent

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school team.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
Can build a strong caring relationships with our children to support a sense of belonging
Is passionate about supporting the needs of all children especially those with SEMH needs
Can demonstrate a commitment to championing childrens mental health and wellbeing
Has experience of working with individualised plans to support children thrive
Has high expectations for childrens learning behaviour and personal development
Can offer patience resourcefulness and resilience

The role will include:
Working with small groups and individuals in a nurturing environment under the direction/support of the class teacher.
Championing wellbeing by working closely with MHST our MH lead and our Wellbeing Ambassadors(children)
Small group and 1-1 social emotional and academic interventions
Incorporating childrens own interests to motivate them
Being flexible and adaptable
Promoting positive mental health and well-being across our whole school community.
Supporting children who may find it difficult to come into school

This is a permanent post for 5 days per week - 33.75hrs The hours will be 8:15am- 3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Required from 23rd February 2026 or sooner if available.
