A Group Lead opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Product Support (IPS) team within the Services Delivery Business Unit. The focus of IPS is ensuring that current and future classes of submarine have a great support solution optimised for availability and cost. This is an exciting role that spans multiple programmes/platforms and therefore the full range of the CADMID cycle. The group plays a key role in supporting and enabling Dreadnought & SSNAs entry into service (a key services priority) by detailing and delivering work to enable their support solution as well as supporting current class (e.g. via assessing maintenance updates and maintaining maintenance details). The teams is also planning to engage early in the NNPX programme to ensure Design for Support is considered actively and early.
The Group consists of two main sections. One section focused on IPS Integration ensuring that all the work necessary to create a good support solution is being covered across the broad range of IPS which includes maintenance technical data spares design influence obsolescence facilities/infrastructure support equipment etc. The second section is focused on IPS analysis activities including defining maintenance via Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) understanding availability via ARM analysis (Availability Reliability Maintainability) and detailing maintenance attributes to name a few key areas.

Formore than 60 years Rolls-Royce Submarines has designed supplied and supported the nuclear propulsion plant providing power for all UK Royal Navy nuclear submarines.
To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines an individual must hold a Security Check clearance. We will support the application for Security Clearance if you dont already have it.
