Functional Competencies: - Perform review of structural drawings and stability documents for ship design and offshore installations according to applicable rules and regulations
- Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure contract requirements are met.
- Provide technical assistance (troubleshoot problems) and attend to clients enquiries on projects.
- Provide supervision including coaching and training for new hires / junior engineers.
- Check and validate design review work performed by junior engineers (where applicable).
- Support Equipment & Material Certification team and Consultancy Services team in drawing review and inspection work as and when required.
- Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of time & expenses sheets.
- Keep up to date with new rules regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.
Requirements: - Degree qualified in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years relevant working experience in related field.
- Familiarity with class rules and international regulations within area of specialization: Hull Machinery Electrical / Automation Safety Stability / TLO.
