Our client operates an established site within the IT Asset Disposition and electronics recycling sector in the Netherlands and is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and further optimise day-to-day operations. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for a well-functioning facility lead a workforce of up to 50 employees and continuously improve performance across safety quality compliance and efficiency.
As Site Manager you will have full operational responsibility for an existing site combining a structured manufacturing mindset with the dynamic nature of ITAD and electronics recycling. You will lead both direct and indirect teams oversee daily production activities ensure compliance with Dutch environmental and safety legislation and act as a key contact for customers and stakeholders.
This position is well suited to a pragmatic people-focused leader who enjoys working close to the operation developing teams and driving continuous improvement within a stable but evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily ITAD and electronics recycling operations with a strong focus on safety quality delivery and cost
- Develop coach and motivate an established workforce of up to 100 employees fostering engagement and performance
- Drive operational excellence by setting monitoring and achieving KPIs related to productivity quality safety and efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with Dutch environmental health & safety (EHS) legislation permits and internal standards
- Manage regulatory customer and internal audits ensuring accurate reporting and corrective actions where required
- Act as the primary site contact for clients leading performance reviews and maintaining transparent professional communication

What youll need
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Operations Manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience leading large operational teams including both direct and indirect reports
- Solid background in KPI management continuous improvement and performance optimisation
- Good understanding of EHS and compliance requirements in regulated operational environments ideally within the Netherlands
- A clear pragmatic leadership style aligned with Dutch working culture: direct collaborative and results-oriented
- Fluent English and ideally Dutch speaking skills
