This role is responsible for performing planning research analysis and recommendations to management on routine issues and matters having a fiscal or operational impact; performs related duties as required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collects and organizes information including data opinion surveys and other forms of research to identify trends issues and opportunities.
- Reviews identifies and evaluates important trends by means of statistical data and analysis.
- Researches new programs projects or policies; participates in the development and implementation of new programs projects or policies.
- Develops and analyzes quality assurance functions by managing audits monitoring accreditation readiness and ensuring adherence to agency policies standards and contractual requirements; identifies trends and high-priority areas for improvement.
- Assists with quality improvement and performance initiatives by assisting with corrective action planning implementing process improvement strategies and utilizing data analysis to evaluate effectiveness promote best practices and drive continuous improvement across programs.
- Serves as a resource on fiscal operational planning or other managerial issues affecting the department or division.
- Evaluates grant programs for effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Prepares quarterly annual and other periodic reports.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of the Area Plan and subsequent updates.
- Identifies courses of action and advises management on their relative advantages and disadvantages.
- Attends various meetings and neighborhood forums as assigned by supervisor.
- Participates in community events information gathering and committees to add the aging disability and planning lens as assigned by supervisor.
- Manages internal and external data dashboards and other data visualization projects.

- Experience developing implementing and evaluating public programs policies or grant-funded initiatives.
Skills
- Proficiency in statistical and mathematical models for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Familiarity with agency operations functions and organizational structures.
- Knowledge of research techniques methodologies and both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Competence in project management and grant program administration.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to present and defend proposals effectively.
- Analytical ability to identify organize and resolve problems using appropriate models or formulas.
- Proficiency in computer operations and relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Working Conditions
- Traditional office environment with standard business hours.
- Flexibility for remote work may be approved.
- May require extended hours or local travel to attend meetings.
