Where Youll Work
As our Cardiac Telemetry Nurse at CHI St Vincent Infirmary youll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events post-procedural and receive patients from the Cath Lab PACU while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.
Youll never have the same day twice as your patients needs evolve. Thats why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists EKG techs and other cardiovascular professionals.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Provides assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for assigned patients.
- Administer medications change therapeutic dressings monitor vital signs prep patients for procedural interventions educate both patient and families regarding the disease process and procedural intervention and chart with timely documentation
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work care coordination physical therapy occupational therapy lab respiratory therapy and imaging
- Utilization of multiple Nurse Driven protocols allowing some autonomy for the prudent nurse
- Evaluation and implementation of the treatment plan for the heart failure patient population
We are offering a sign on bonus up to $25000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses excellent benefits tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. upon hire
- Registered Nurse: AR upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR within 30 Days and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 - months
