About the position Position/ Specialty: Infusion RN (Infusion/Outpatient Clinic) Flexible to both Infusion or Clinics Shift: Day Shift Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Weekend Req (Y/N): No Is on-call REQ (Y/N): No Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units Yes - between infusion and specialty clinics (2 pods: Card/Neuro/Neph and Endo/GI). Chemo infusion is also moving mid-May to a new site less than 5 minutes aways from the current facility and there may be a need to float to this new location as well. Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 First time travelers accepted (Y/N): Yes License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certs REQ: BLS ACLS Chemo Cert (OCN) Experience Preferred: IVs and Ports; Inpatient experience with Cardiology Miscellaneous Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Multi specialty outpatient building with 25 specialties within Total Staffed Beds: Approximately 50 beds Scrub Color: Royal Blue Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free and on site Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
