Reporting to the Manager Transportation and Development and receiving assignments from the Manager I.T. (Information Technology) and GIS (Geographic Information System) Technologist this position assists with planning and implementing GIS solutions for the Division by creating and modifying geospatial data to be used in map products and GIS solutions and working with field staff on processes and data activities. The position may also be assigned other tasks over the course of employment to support special -time enrollment in post-secondary studies in GIS or a related discipline with preference given to those returning to full-time post-secondary studies in the general computer skills/ with ArcGIS and AutoCAD 2014 Rate: $25.57 to $27.33 (2026 rate)Please note:To be eligible for this job students must be enrolled in full-time post-secondary education. Preference is given to those returning to full-time post-secondary studies in the fall. Students may be asked to provide proof of student interviews are expected to be scheduled in February 2026. We will work within the Winter 2026 reading weeks advertised by Ontario post-secondary institutions; however please be advised that we may not be able to accommodate every school schedule.
