How you will contribute: Process progress draw requests Setup initial paperless files Review & bookmark Commitment Letter and CMHC Certificate of Insurance Complete third-party instructions to reflect the loan structure and particularities Full onboarding of loan in OptimusComplete templates & checklists with loan details and pre-funding deliverables requiredInputting of data on Optimus (Insurance taxes and peripheral items) Arrange for the execution of various documents by the appropriate signatories and distribution to the requesting parties File related documents maintenance and organization of files Full onboarding of deals originated by third parties Complete special projects as assigned by the Assistant-Manager & Manager Commercial Mortgage FundingThe experience you need: Post-secondary education (degree preferred) 1-2 years of experience in finance preferably in mortgage financing Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel computer applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven organization skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task Analytical thinker and risk mitigating mindset Must adapt in a fast-paced environment Team player with ability to perform extra duties as assigned Must be able to work independently and take ownership of their own portfolio with minimal supervisionWorking Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:Office environmentPeriods of high volume with tight timelinesLong periods of stationary position/sittingProlonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)Long periods of time in viewing a computer screenMulti-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer join First NationalCompetitive Compensation Comprehensive benefits program (i.e. Health Spending Account Maternity and Parental Leave Top Up)Hybrid working environment Extensive training programs to set our employees up for success Modern office environment conducive to collaborationSupportive teamwork culture Opportunities to give back to the communities and work through events focused on a variety of charities Ongoing social events throughout the year The team youll join: Founded in 1988 First National is one of Canadas largest non-bank lenders.
