For accurate salary information call or email The Puyallup Tribe of Indians provides a generous benefits package that includes employer paid medical dental vision life insurance a retirement/401(k) plan with profit sharing paid holidays and paid time off including birthday Summary:Under the supervision of the Director of Grants & Development this position will be responsible for providing support to the Grants & Development department by researching grant opportunities responding to inquiries compiling data improving grant proposals with quality data supporting Grant Writers as needed and assisting with integration of Amplifund software. Exceptional communication teamwork and collaboration skills are essential for this Duties and ResponsibilitiesResearches and tracks potential grant funding opportunities to address the needs of Tribal departments programs and projects;Responds to inquires made by Departments (weekly).Compile existing data and supportive documents into usable shared folder (daily).Improve grant proposals with quality data (daily)Support Grant Writers as needed including with drafting responses to questions and using data to support the proposal (daily)Assist with the integration of Amplifund software (daily)Assist with maintenance of grant portals (monthly)Works cooperatively and respectfully with all Tribal department directors program managers support staff and Administrative Team in planning and writing grant applications;Works cooperatively and respectfully with other members of the Grants Team;Position is required to train on Grant Writer duties during Trainee duties as ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory and RequirementsTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
