Main Objectives

As a Product Development Manager: Sugar Confectionery portfolio you will have a pivotal role in driving the conceptualisation development and execution of cost-effective market-relevant products aligned with international best practices and emerging technologies. You will ensure sustainable growth and profitability in line with our overall business strategy.

Job Objectives:

Lead New Product Development (NPD): Identify and close innovation gaps within the confectionery portfolio through strategic product development initiatives.
Customer Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers to support collaborative product development efforts.
Project Management: Ensure the successful execution of projects meeting business objectives within agreed timelines and budget.
Product Quality & Compliance: Deliver high-quality products that meet national standards regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks.
Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on formulations processing technologies and regulatory compliance to support new product initiatives.
Quality & Food Safety Systems: Ensure full adherence to FSSC 22000 (relevant clauses) and ISO 9001 standards through diligent implementation of quality management responsibilities.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of technologists supporting their technical growth and ensuring effective project support.
