Job Summary

As a Principal Architect at JPMorganChase within the Digital Channels Technologies unit youprovide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Job responsibilities
- Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies
- Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
- Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design
- Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Serves as the functions go-to subject matter expert
- Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
- Creates durable reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions
- Champions the firms culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on data management concepts and 10+ years applied addition 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Expertise in digital platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud including services related to computing storage networking and security.
- Strong understanding and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman enabling the design and implementation of scalable and efficient architecture solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) automation and the use of tools such as Jenkins Docker and Kubernetes to enhance development and operational efficiency.
- Deep knowledge in one or more software applications and architecture
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and manage relationships with stakeholders across the entire value chain ensuring alignment and integration of technology solutions with business objectives.
