Job Summary

Role Purpose

You will lead a team of HR experts who provide on-the-ground HR support to people leaders and employees across India Centers. Youll provide strategic guidance and support to senior management keeping a pulse on employee and market trends ensuring compliance and offering a consistent employee experience to all employees in India Centers.

Key Accountabilities :

Team Leadership - You will provide senior level oversight and coaching to HR team for your respective geography.

Developing and implementing HR strategy - You will set the HR strategy for different centers in India. Youll assess industry and market trends and situations to develop and implement HR initiatives in line with the regions operational needs. Youll also partner with functional BPs to implement strategic initiatives for respective BUs within their geography.

Retaining talent - You will collaborate with HRBPs to implement retention strategies to retain the best talent in the business. You will escalate local situations that require review or approval (e.g. identify flight risks compensation issues or local competitive or benefit nuances).

Talent management and development - You will collaborate with HRBPs to ensure alignment and awareness of top talent and support development plans as appropriate. Youll lead Market HR teams from the centers to support the roll out of global development initiatives and programs within the region developing regional programs as appropriate.

Labour Compliance -You will ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations relating to HR including labor laws employment standards local norms and partner with security team on health and safety regulations.

Employee relations labor relations and performance management - You will lead Market HR teams in developing and implementing policies and procedures that reflect market conditions and company philosophy ensuring that all policies and procedures are fair and equitable. Youll oversee appropriate resolution of employee relations issues within your region handling directly where appropriate. Youll also lead Market HR teams to identify situations that require performance improvement plans (PIP) and ensure local execution of PIPs with relevant leaders and managers; advising HRBPs on local requirements templates and processes.

Culture values and Diversity equity and inclusion (DE&I) - You will create and maintain a positive organizational culture across your centers that is aligned with the organizations values and mission which includes promoting DE&I and leading the implementation of global initiatives in partnership with DTC or other global functions as appropriate (e.g. Workplace with Purpose policy changes). Youll lead your team to coach and guide managers and associates on all local processes such as performance management total rewards employee engagement career conversations and conflict management. You will engage build and retain talent within your markets developing geographically relevant programs as appropriate to complement the global strategy.

Change management and communication - You will lead communication of HR policies and practices to employees at all levels in India centers. You will design and/or implement detailed and effective change management plans collaborating with HRBPs and relevant stakeholders on implementation. Youll provide ongoing leadership to ensure change is fully implemented and results in lasting change.

Financial acumen - You will manage your budget in line with OP meeting financial committments including vendor mgmt invoice mgmt T&E budget leveraging PowerBI dashboards.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or equivalent business experience
  • 12-15 years of relevant business experience 7 of which in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing HR team identify and grow talent inspire and motivate their team to achieve goals as well as collaborate with other leaders within the organization to drive results.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the organizations overall strategy and goals.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in all areas of HR including talent management employee relations compensation and benefits compliance and labor relations
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to inform HR strategy and decision-making including analyzing workforce metrics identifying trends and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communicator who can effectively convey complex ideas and information to a variety of audiences both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and leading large scale change initiatives within the organization including the ability to adapt to innovative technologies business models and organizational structures.
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce promoting equity diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
