Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of veterinary practice operations including staffing scheduling and inventory control
  • Recruit hire train and supervise office staff; conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies including DEA/Controlled Substances and OSHA regulations
  • Oversee financial operations including payroll budgeting and vendor relationships
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper use of veterinary terminology
  • Provide excellent customer service addressing pet owners questions and resolving complaints promptly
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient care and emergency response
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and engage with the local veterinary community
  • Manage inventory including controlled drugs to maintain adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness
  • Perform other duties as assigned by veterinary regional manager

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  • Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3 years veterinary experience preferred
  • Saturday rotation is required
  • knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital 
  • Compassionate Calm Team Player Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
  • Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospitals needs

Additional Information :

Pay Range: $70-75k depending on experience.
