Job Summary
General Summary: The Teachers Assistant provides school-based educational behavioral and self-care services to individuals who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders at Intermountain RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists with and teaches academic subjects behavioral and personal care students involvement in academics skills training socialization communication and setting participates as a member of their students treatment daily behavior and weekly academic skills data students health/safety while promoting students behavior to ensure safety and address supervisor of all incidents/accidents and completes related required professionalism at all and adheres to all Academy and agency all required training or as requested by an approved schedule and acceptable level of other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the :Education High School diploma/GED required; Associates degree Experience working with special education population Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) :Minimum 18 years of Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).CPR First Aid & AED certification if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).Valid Arizona Drivers License 39-month Motor Vehicle Report proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meet company insurance requirements if TB test result if required (Employer provides).
