Job Summary
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects finding innovative cost-effective means to improve products techniques procedures and technologies on multiple aerospace mechanical products. You will support design solutions for improvement of current products quality cost OTTR and Past Due ensuring to meet customer requirements in compliance with existing command media (e.g. DRM DSH CGPs) and industry standards. You will also participate on continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture design standards tools and process improvements.
This position is within the ISC Design team supporting multiple Honeywell sites for the Aerospace ISC Engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage Engineering Drawing Changes.
- Create models and detailed drawings in NX.
- Support design process including drawing release milestones.
- Support Cost Take Out projects.
- Ensure design meets customer requirements.
- Diagnose and address field issues as they relate to mechanical design (drawing interpretation tolerance stacks processing drawing changes etc.).
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Mechatronic Aeronautical Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with CAD tools.
- Engineering drawings interpretation.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- 0-2 year of experience in Mechanical Design.
- Advanced English.
