SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Senior CAD Design Engineer to support an automotive development project in Puebla. The role focuses on advanced CAD design activities tolerance analysis and digital mockup development for powertrainrelated systems. The engineer will provide technical support for engine development programs while ensuring compliance with established engineering processes
and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using PTC Creo and CATIA V5.
- Perform tolerance analysis using GD&T principles to ensure proper component fit and functionality.
- Create and maintain Digital MockUp (DMU) assemblies to support product integration and design validation.
- Provide technical support during the development of engine systems and related components.
- Ensure design activities align with internal engineering standards and development processes.
- Support design validation and documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams to ensure proper system integration and compliancewith technical requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.
- Several years of experience in automotive design or CAD engineering roles.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional and international engineering teams.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience with PTC Creo and CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and 2D drawing development.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and tolerance stackup analysis.
- Experience generating and managing Digital MockUps.
- Knowledge of gasoline electric and hybrid engine systems and their associated connections including hoses and wiring harnesses.
- Familiarity with engineering data management systems such as KVS PDM Connect/Windchill ECA and AVON.
- Experience with TeamCenter Connect Model Check and ProRepair.
- Understanding of structured product development processes and engineering release procedures.
Languages: English B2 required. German B1 desirable.
