SEGULA Technologies is seeking an Engine Design & Testing Engineer to
support an automotive development project in Puebla. This role focuses on design control
validation testing and project milestone tracking for gasoline electric and hybrid
powertrain systems. The engineer will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure
proper development validation and release of engine components throughout the product
development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and manage engine component design using PTC Creo and CATIA V5. Coordinate and monitor functional and durability testing activities.
- Track and manage project milestones according to structured development processes including prototype development tooling readiness and releases for preseries and production phases.
- Support project planning and coordination activities aligned with engineering development standards. Generate and manage engineering changes and costsaving proposals.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and design requirements.
- Manage and maintain test catalogs related to function and durability validation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of engine systems and peripherals.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering Mechatronics or a related field. Previous experience in automotive product development or powertrain engineering is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional and international teams.
Technical Requirements:
Experience working with CATIA and/or PTC Creo for 2D and 3D design activities.
Knowledge of KVS/Connect or similar engineering data systems.
Understanding of project management processes such as PEP and AVON.
Experience with engineering change management and AEKOs.
Knowledge of validation procedures related to functional and durability testing. Familiarity with gasoline electric and hybrid engine systems.
Understanding of sensors electrical harnesses connectors hoses and tubing used in engine applications.
Languages: English B2 required. German B1 desirable.
