Job Summary
Koniag Technology Solutions a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a Top-Secret clearance to support KTS and our government customer in Quantico VA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Essential Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Act as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction expert electrical engineering comments based on these electrical design drawings and specifications related to lighting system lighting control system power system power distribution grounding lightning protection system generator and UPS system for commercial government and data center lighting fixtures and coordinate with other the electrical demand load calculations and generator load electrical equipment size conduits perform electrical panel load calculations create and review product specifications create and review design layouts for electrical and conduct site visits for the purpose of data collection and evaluation of electrical systems equipment components and materials for recommendations to the clients and other team electrical system National Electrical code and be able to communicate with the A/E firm for the project as well as internal team members and the design criteria and standards for various closely with the project manager to deliver well-coordinated electrical design in quality control and quality assurance during in writing scopes of work for construction administration duties such as reviewing RFIs field reports and able to size transformers and possess an understanding of riser power to the data communication equipment such as communication is the most efficient method for cable trays in the with A/E door hardware and conduit conditions required for each photometric site plans and verify and layout of UPS systemReview sound masking and PA Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering10 years of experience in the design of building electrical systemsProficiency in AutoCAD and/or RevitTop Secret Security ClearanceOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
