What your days will look like:

  • Lead category management
    Build and execute multiyear category strategies: baseline demand and spend use market intelligence segment suppliers define value levers and roadmaps and embed risk/performance frameworks.
  • Ownend to endsourcing delivery
    Stand up and run RFx/esourcingevents lead negotiations oversee commercial/contract terms with Legal and manage supplier onboarding and transition through to verified benefits realisation.
  • Deliver value to target (cost & cash)
    Shape savings pipelines set baselines and KPIs and track benefits to P&L and working capital in partnership with Financemeeting or exceeding agreed targets.
  • Strengthen operating model & P2P
    Design and embed procurement policies processes controls and governance across strategy sourcing contracting SRM and P2P; address maverickspendand throughput issues to improve compliance and cycle times.
  • Enable digital procurement & analytics
    Drive business adoption (not configuration) of modern S2P tools; cleanse and structure spend data; use analytics to scan opportunities and track delivery; and integratethirdpartyrisk considerations.
  • Embed ESG within procurement
    Integrate sustainability criteria and Scope 3 awareness into sourcing decisions and suppliermanagement;support supplier improvement and reporting.
  • Lead teams and stakeholders
    Plan and manage multidisciplinary teams; coach Senior Associates/Associates; craftexecutivereadymaterials;facilitateworkshops andSteerCos; and manage risks/issues.
  • Support practice growth
    Contribute to proposals case studies andpointsofview; help refine our procurement propositions and delivery toolkits; and act as a role model for junior team members.

This role is for you if:

  • Proven savings deliverytrack recordof meeting or exceeding agreedcostsavingstargets with benefits tracked through toP&L recognition and working capitalimpact.
  • Category management depthexperience crafting and executing category strategies (demand/supply analysis market intelligence supplier segmentation risk & performance management).
  • End to endsourcingexpertisehandsonleadership of RFx commercial modellingnegotiationsand contract finalisation; confident operating across direct and indirect spend types without sector limitation.
  • SRM & supplier performanceability to set up governancescorecardsand improvement plans; address performance slippageriskand compliance issues.
  • Operating model & P2P improvementexperience designing/embedding policiesprocessesand controls; understanding of common P2P failure modes and remedies.
  • Digital & analytics fluencyadvanced Excel; exposure to analytics tools (e.g.AlteryxTableau) and leadingS2P suites(e.g.SAPCoupaiCertis) to derive insights and drive adoption.
  • ESG integrationawareness of Scope 3 and how sustainability criteria influence sourcing and supplier management; ability to translate ESG goals into procurement actions.
  • Consulting craft & leadershipclear persuasive communication; structured problem solving; stakeholder management; programme management in ambiguousfastpacedenvironments; and coaching of junior team members.
