Job Summary

Program Manager Youth DevelopmentPosition SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Youth Development manages the North County Community Assessment Team (CAT)/JD the Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program and the CHOICE program to ensure compliance with the County of San Diego Probation Department contract and other contractors. The Manger is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the staff in the Youth Development department and to serve as a liaison between the Youth Development department and other departments within Lifeline and between Lifeline and the community. Must demonstrate knowledge of trauma informed client driven and culturally competent ActivitiesWorks with Probation staff subcontractors and other collaborative agencies to coordinate services for Youth Development as liaison between Youth Development programs and other Lifeline programs (i.e S4S IMPACT CinA VIVA Connections CCH) to promote in-house program with the recruitment hiring training and scheduling of program staff productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching. Prepares and conducts staff performance reviews annually or as needed and ensures adherence to agency policies and procedures including disciplinary protocols if the need with the on boarding and coordination of interns/trainees. Sets parameters for documentation requirements of direct connects short-term and long-term case and implements Youth Development policies and support and assist other Youth Development Program Managers and Director to ensure success with all Youth Development contracts. Evaluates and supervises outcome achievement of Youth Development staff on a weekly basis and assures successful completion of Service Plan weekly Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings and provides individual supervision to Youth Development staff on a consistent outside activities of staff including the facilitation of groups field trips literacy mentoring and outreach and coordinates center-based with Probation schools attendance review boards contractors subcontractors etc. to provide prevention/diversion/intervention expertise and promote Youth Development programs to the North Coastal statistics and meets reporting requirements for Youth Development programs on the specified database including program-specific ETO accurate completion and submission of all Youth Development contract narrative and statistical progress reports as required. Works closely with the fiscal department to ensure accurate and timely submission of all staff Absence Request forms Mileage Sheets Timesheets and any other contract/budget requirements. Provides Quality Assurance including file reviews and oversight of documentation of assessment and intake PACT Assessment Tool SDRRC case management and progress notes case planning and goal setting completion of CSQs and referral and linkage and/or develops client-sensitive policies and procedures supporting the delivery of programs and services. Coordinates or provides substance abuse and mental health services training and other related staff development activities. Provides direct services to clients and/or groups in a culturally sensitive manner as needed. Continue to support and facilitate the 52-week Domestic Violence group and participate in supervision. Resolves programmatic issues as identified by services as needed to ensure program community agency and collaborative supervises and maintains systems and procedures that encourage and support a multi-disciplinary wraparound service model which ensures timely and appropriate critical core services for youth adults and families including information and outreach to the community assessment referral and follow up case coordination and management home visiting rapid response to crisis drug and alcohol counseling and gender-specific services for and operates within program budgets and monitors the use of wraparound fund in Lifelines Management and Supervisors Teams and any other Youth Development Department other duties as degree in counseling social work or related field. Licensed LMFT/LCSW preferred. Two years experience supervising counseling and/or case management staff. Excellent organizational clinical and communication skills. Knowledge of youth development family dynamics and cultural considerations. Willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment. Must be compatible with Lifelines purpose and philosophy. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
