You will need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly : Full-time permanent. Days evenings & weekends. Wage: $22 per hour plus gratuityKey ResponsibilitiesStaff ManagementProvide hands on support in all FOH departments when needed to maintain adequate staffing levelsSupervise staff to ensure high standards of serviceEnsure all service staff are using appropriate dialogue with guestsImplementing and monitoring all dress code and uniform policiesStaff Training and DevelopmentPreparing and hosting motivational daily pre shiftsOngoing product knowledge trainingAssist with organizing and implement training for all new FOH staffCommunication and DelegationDaily pass-on to ensure communication between all management Updating pre shift notes between shift and after Collaborating with the culinary team to communicate shortages or 86d items with the FOH and communicate with employees in a fair and consistent mannerGuest Relations and Retention Communication with all service staff to get to know regulars their dining habits and preferencesEnsuring that the hosts and servers are updating OpenTable customer notes daily Being aware of guest issues or complaints on the floor and dealing with them according to R&H standards Touching every table ensuring that all servers are providing exceptional service to all guests and that everyone leaves happy regardless of their experienceProviding extras for repeat guests industry etc. With complimentary desserts glass of bubbles etc. RequirementsMinimum 3 years restaurant serving or waitering Pro in a supervisor role an knowledge of proper food handling working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a to cleanliness and and customer-oriented people skills with a friendly and organizational Resorts is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building a workplace that values diversity and ensures equal opportunities for all.
