Your role and responsibilities

You will:

  • Support a range of childcare providers in the private voluntary and independent sector to provide the highest quality education and care to children in the early years.
  • Provide information advice and support to childcare providers.
  • Analyse a range of information sources about the quality sufficiency use and benefits of childcare and early education to meet the needs of Suffolk families.

You will need

  • Level 4 qualificationand experience in a relevant area of work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work independently

The team

The Early Years and Childcare (EYC) Services role in supporting quality in early years provision is crucial. Improving the quality of early years provision helps improve long term outcomes for children. High quality is central to an early years system that has the confidence of parents delivers both positive experiences and good outcomes for children and helps to diminish the difference between the most disadvantaged children and the rest.
