Role Overview
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team and provide specialist care to individuals with complex needs. This role involves supporting clients with a range of conditions which may include neurological disorders spinal injuries physical disabilities learning disabilities or other complex health conditions.
As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support by promoting independence dignity and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual support plans
- Assist with personal care including bathing dressing and hygiene
- Support with medication administration (where trained)
- Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling procedures
- Support clients with daily living tasks including meal preparation and household tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Monitor and record health conditions and report any concerns
- Work collaboratively with families healthcare professionals and the wider care team
- Follow safeguarding health & safety and infection control procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or supporting individuals with complex needs is desirable
- Compassionate patient and reliable with a genuine passion for care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake specialist training where required
- Right to work in the UK
