We are seeking an ambitious Graduate Account Executive (Grad AE)to join our dynamic and collaborative agency. A Grad AE is the foundation of the account team ensuring smooth and timely administration across the account ensuring seamless project management and developing campaign materials and content.
This position is a full-time hybrid role reporting to the London office (Holborn based team) approximately 3 days per week.
The Responsibilities
- Be integral to overall account project management tracking status of tasks and actions
- Ensuring seamless account administration organizing meetings calls and sharing actions / status updates with our clients
- Ensure timely communication with clients and where required appropriate follow-up to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate time management skills by developing action lists assigning responsibilities and managing all levels of the team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Where relevant train and upskill new graduate hires. Teach them how to use relevant tools and software as well as how to perform the basic account administration function.
- Ensure all work produced is high quality with good spelling/grammar and devoid of typos.
- Collate supplier invoices and send them promptly to Finance logging them in the project cost tracker.
- Maintain using client approval platforms (Veeva/ PromoMats/ CoManDo/ ContentLab) and able to keep your account team regularly updated on the status and progress of materials through the review and certification processes.
- Written skills and content creation
- Develop writing skills by producing the first draft of a variety of materials e.g. disease backgrounder/factsheet infographic copy press release Q&A web copy patient information leaflet.
- Develop an understanding of the content creation process by being the key point of contact for production suppliers when working on videos and podcasts etc.
- An ability to develop materials which are in alignment with the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Media skills
- Participate in media sell ins with a focus on regional medical and trade titles. Be able to confidently pitch a story to a journalist and engage in a dialogue to develop an editorial feature article.
- Identify relevant upcoming editorial and advertorial opportunities for clients and secure coverage.
- Have a network of relevant journalists that you can run opportunities and ideas past consider taking journalists for coffees/lunch.
- Feel confident in knowing why we would use each social media channel and what is appropriate for the type of programme you are working on (e.g. disease awareness vs. corporate communications).
- Proactively suggest milestones that may be relevant to post about on social media.
- Understand the difference between organic and paid social media and what each can be used for.
- Be able to communicate effectively with suppliers on the development of relevant creative assets that help enhance your copy / tell your story
- Be able to independently AE monitor social media posts.
- Be able to create first drafts of content posts for corporate social channels.
- Building relationships with clients and suppliers
- Play an active role in client calls and meetings contributing to group discussions.
- Have an awareness of client/brand plans and priorities and start to build an understanding of the role of comms.
- Contribute to company meetings by presenting on relevant campaigns etc. when asked.
- Take a proactive interest in your future development by attending training sessions and identifying external opportunities to develop skills in areas that interest you.
- Demonstrate interest and understanding of the healthcare environment take initiative to read / share industry relevant news and trends
About You
Our ideal candidate must have:
- A degree in communications healthcare or science-related field
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct basic research including social media research.
- Exceptional presentation and organisational skills.
- A desire to be a part of an ambitious entrepreneurial agency at local and group level
