Social Media Specialist II

Main Job Function

• Support the Social Media team in Paris and the 24/7 Team in Datawords Philippines to ensure a high-quality output of the projects handled

• In charge of handling Social Media publishing and maintenance for a major brand

• On-call coverage

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily maintenance and monitoring of the clients social media channels adhering to the provided strict guidelines.

• Assist in publishing and scheduling content for social media channels using multiple tools.

• Perform advanced quality checks for publishing tasks across desktop and mobile environments.

• Work on several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Provide regular internal reports on ongoing social media activities.

• Actively participate in training daily calls and monthly meetings.

• Coordinate closely with global counterparts to ensure project alignment.

• Stay informed on updates and trends across all social media platforms.

• Assist in asset production including cropping and resizing tasks.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the lead/manager

Qualifications

• Graduate of Communication Arts Journalism Broadcasting and the like

• 12 years of working experience in social media publishing or related roles.

• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite (Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

• Strong analytical and English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Attention to details and commitment to accuracy

• Ability to prioritize balance and organize multiple tasks efficiently.

• Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done

• Flexible and constructive when responding to changing deadlines

• Willing to work on a shifting schedule weekends and holidays included

• Good time management skills ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Able to work in a distributed/remote and collaborative global team environment

• Able to deal with time pressure

• Fast learner

Nice to Have

• Knowledge in tracking tools like JIRA Cloud and Confluence

• Experience in social media scheduling tools

• Nice to have good analysis and email writing skills

• Nice to have good multi-tasking skills

• 2:30pm - 11:30pm PHT Monday to Friday
