Job Summary
Job Description:
As a Proofreader at Lovesac you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all written content produced by the company. Your attention to detail and strong grasp of grammar and spelling will be essential in maintaining the high standards of communication upheld by Lovesac.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and proofread a variety of written materials including marketing materials product descriptions website content and customer communications.
- Check for errors in grammar punctuation spelling and formatting.
- Ensure consistency in language and style throughout all written materials.
- Suggest edits to improve clarity readability and overall quality of written content.
- Collaborate with writers editors and other team members to uphold brand voice and messaging.
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong command of the English language including grammar spelling and punctuation.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software.
Desired Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in proofreading or a related field.
- Experience in the furniture industry or a passion for home decor is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
