Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Proofreader to join our team at CSI Engineering USA. As a Proofreader you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of all written materials before they are published or shared with clients. Your attention to detail and strong grasp of grammar and spelling will be essential in maintaining our professional reputation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and proofread various documents reports and presentations to identify and correct errors in grammar punctuation and spelling.
- Ensure consistency in formatting style and language throughout all written materials.
- Collaborate with writers editors and other team members to maintain high standards for accuracy and quality.
- Verify facts dates and other details to ensure the accuracy of information presented.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Proofreader or similar role with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar punctuation and spelling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Proofreader in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with engineering or technical documents is a plus.
- Previous experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Salary & Benefits:
