Business Development Manager Architectural Solutions

THE ROLE


This role BusinessDevelopment ManagerArchitectural Solutions-leadsthe charge in selling the dealerships products and services includingarchitectural walls modular solutions and commercial furniture through valueproposition positioning and knowledge sharing. Using your strong industryknowledge and business development skills you will leverage your establishednetworks of industry influencers; including architects & designers projectmanagers commercial real estate brokers vendors and general contractors touncover leads and ultimately achieve assigned sales targets.

This is a full-time permanent position working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office in Toronto ON. Compensation for this position includes a base pay in addition to commission incentives. Youll mostly work from 8:00 am 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with irregular or extended hours as projects demand.

THEROLE

BusinessDevelopment

  • Prospectingfor new business opportunities.
  • Workclosely with the General Manager to implement strategic sales plans to achievecompany growth targets.
  • Create acontinuous and positive presence in the market through prospecting qualifyingleads and closing deals.
  • Manage keyaccounts and foster long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Coordinateswith Account Managers from all business units as the initial point of contactfor clients. Attempts to influence client towards the holistic solution forfurniture flooring and modular construction from COI

MarketPresence

  • Conductmarket research to identify new opportunities industry trends and competitiveinsights.
  • Stayupdated on industry developments product innovations and market dynamics.
  • Representthe company at industry events trade shows and networking functions.

RelationshipManagement

  • Relationshipbuilding with clients and industry influencers like architects &designers commercial real estate brokers project managers and generalcontractors.
  • Identifyand cultivate relationships with potential clients including architectsdesigners contractors and corporate decision-makers.
  • Engagingwith clients attending meetings presentations and industry events to buildrapport address client needs and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Develop andmanage strategic partnerships with vendors suppliers and other externalpartners to enhance product offerings and market reach.

  • Youare confident while interacting at higher levels of an organization. Yourentrepreneurial drive resourceful nature and background in businessdevelopment allows you to support customers with the many tricky decisions thatcome along keeping their projects on track.
  • Your in-depth knowledge of theirbusiness and needs will win you a seat at the table as a trusted advisor inconceptual planning and design discussions.
  • You will lead all aspects of the sales process from conceptualizationsolution development quoting product application and specification with thegoal of achieving your sales targets.
  • Your clients will know how their projectis progressing in relation to key timelines. Experience working in the contractoffice furniture industry is an asset.
  • Theseare complex sales where youll manage competing priorities multiple internaland external stakeholders and varying deliverables. Your adaptabilityresilience and experience in a similarly complex sales environment will becrucial for your success here. The number of projects youll have on the go atany given time will vary depending on their size and scope. The team youlljoin is collaborative and successful.
