A career in our International Tax Desk practice within International Tax services will provide you with the opportunity to help multinational companies address their cross border tax needs both locally and globally by managing their global tax rates finding areas of cost reduction and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. As a U.S. Tax Senior Manageryoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy toexecution.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone.
Act to resolve issues which prevent theteamworking effectively.

Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
Use multiple sources ofinformationincluding broader stakeholderviewsto develop solutions and recommendations.
Simplify complex messages highlighting and summarizing key points.
Uphold the firms code of ethics and business conduct.
Proactivelyassistin the management of a portfolio of clients while reporting to senior members of the US Corporate Tax team across Canada.
Plan and review US federal state and local tax compliance projects for a broad range of clients.
Assistingour clients in managing their US tax needs including but not limited to reorganizations loss limitation rules earnings stripping etc. toa portfolio of diverse clients.
Assistwith matters associated with cross border mergers and acquisitions ranging from due diligence acquisition and divestiture planning cross border financing structures as well aspost mergerintegrations.
Be actively involved in business development activities to helpidentifyand research opportunitiesonnew/existing clients.
Contribute to the development of yourown andteams technical acumen.
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues including Federal andstateincome tax changes and their impact on your client portfolio.
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand.
Experience and skillsyoullneed to solve
Experience in US Federal and state corporate incometax.
US CPA or Canadian CPA or other relevant professionaldesignation.
Completion of Masters of US Taxationis consideredanasset.
Experience with US domestic and international tax issues including taxresearch.
Strong analytical and organizationalskills.
Experience with OneSource orGoSystemand US tax research applications such as Checkpoint BNA or CCH considered an asset.
The successful candidaterequiresfluency in English in addition to French as they willbe requiredto support or collaborate with English-speaking clients colleagues and/or stakeholders during their employment with PwC Canada.

The salary range for this position is $115500- $192400. The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major citycentres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
