The Role
You will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and departmental need. The role centres on delivering engaging well-structured lessons in performance composition listening and music theory while building students confidence and musical understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Music lessons aligned with the curriculum
Teaching performance composition appraisal and theory
Supporting individual practice and ensemble work
Assessing progress and providing clear constructive feedback
Contributing to choirs bands ensembles concerts and whole-school productions
Playing an active role in the wider musical and cultural life of the school
