At Nikan AI Solutions UAB we are looking for a Technical Product Manager to bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. We need more than just a ticket manager; we need a leader who can sit with the Board to define the vision and then sit with the developers to architect the solution.
You will be the central brain behind high-impact projects connecting major ecommerce platforms like Shopware Mirakl JTL and plentyOne.
The Role
In this role you wont be writing code but you will use your technical background to ensure we are building the right things the right way. Your primary focus is to take business requirements from the Board and clients validate their technical feasibility with the team and translate them into clear actionable tasks for the developers. You help the team focus on coding by clarifying the what and the why.

Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Requirements: Take high-level requests from stakeholders and turn them into detailed technical specifications (User Stories/Epics) that developers can immediately understand.
- Feasibility & prioritization: Use your technical judgment to filter requests. You determine what is realistic within our timeline and architecture before it reaches the team.
- Protect the Team: You act as a buffer for the developers handling questions from clients and the Board so the team can focus on execution without constant interruption.
- Product Roadmap: Maintain a clear prioritized backlog. You ensure the team always knows what to work on next and that it aligns with company strategy.
- Technical Alignment: Participate in technical discussions to ensure new features fit our existing infrastructure spotting potential risks early in the planning phase.
Your Profile:
- Technical Background: You have a strong background in software development (PHP/Web) or System Architecture. You must be able to read code understand database structures and validate technical proposals.
- Product Experience: 13 years of experience as a Product Owner Technical Lead or Technical Project Manager.
- Integration Knowledge: Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and data synchronization. Familiarity with e-commerce logic (Shopware Mirakl JTL) is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to manage expectations. You can confidently discuss trade-offs between speed cost and quality with the Board and clients.
- Agile Proficiency: Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and capable of using tools like Jira YouTrack or ClickUp to maintain an organized workflow.
- Language: Professional English is required. German proficiency is a plus.
- Remote-Ready: Excellent English skills and the ability to collaborate across EET/CET time zones.
- Big Plus But Not Required:
- Familiarity with APIs and e-commerce platforms (Shopware Mirakl JTL plentyOne). You dont need to code but youre comfortable reading API docs and discussing trade-offs.
- German proficiency.
