We are looking for an Performance Data Engineer to join the Operations and Maintenance department at Ignitis Renewables. Your focus will be owning the ETL processtransforming unstructured data like service reports and emails into a unified MS SQL database. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Developing and maintaining ETL workflows for data reporting and analytics
- Collaborating with O&M colleagues to create the best business insight solutions
- Partnering with stakeholders to unify data from various sources (like SCADA HSE Quality and Risk)
- Processing diverse data types including structured unstructured human and machine-generated data
- Creating and managing secure easily searchable internal databases
- Ensuring data reliability by tracking and reporting on data availability
- Leading initiatives to understand team data needs and improve daily workflows
- Identifying ways to boost system efficiency and reliability across different technologies
Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Statistics Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of experience in data engineering ETL development and processing unstructured data
- Proficiency in Python SQL data manipulation (pandas regex) and ETL tools (Airflow dbt SSIS or Talend)
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven track record of driving successful digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Capability of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Advantageous: Familiarity with NLP (Elasticsearch) Power BI process optimization tools (e.g. Power Automate) ML cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and renewable energy
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills ability to work independently and as part of a team
