PERFORMANCE DATA ENGINEER BI DEVELOPMENT AND SQL (FMD) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a Performance Data Engineer to join the O&M department at Ignitis Renewables. You will ensure cross-departmental and post-processed data is easily accessible. While the wider team handles raw asset data you will own the process from data entry to final BI solutions. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Designing developing and maintaining transformation pipelines across Silver and Gold layers to deliver reliable cross-departmental KPIs and analytical datasets
• Partnering with stakeholders to unify cross-departmental data sources (e.g. SCADA HSE Finance Commercial Quality and Risk)
• Co-creating BI semantic models and curated datasets together with data analysts and business stakeholders
• Managing internal databases for post-processed data ensuring the architecture scales with new assets and analytics requests
• Ensuring data reliability through availability tracking and reporting on post-processed data
• Establishing and maintaining internal standards and data handling procedures
• Leading initiatives to assess cross-departmental data needs and optimize workflows
• Identifying opportunities to enhance system efficiency reliability and usability across teams and technologies 

Qualifications :

• An academic degree in Computer Science Software Engineering IT Engineering or a related field 
• 2 years of experience in data engineering BI development MS SQL Server cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines 
• Proven experience in analytics/data engineering BI development or automation
• Experience building scalable analytical data models or KPI pipelines for business reporting
• Proficiency in programming and database query languages (Python SQL) visualization tools (Power BI) ETL tools or custom Python-based ETL solutions data manipulation (pandas regex)
• Advantageous: familiarity or experience with renewable energy sector familiarity with Airflow dbt NLP 
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills ability to work independently and as part of a team
