About the Role:
Manage day-to-day finance operations and Corporate Accounting deliverables along with your immediate manager. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to accurate and timely financial reporting to meet Corporate and statutory requirements as well as performing vendor management including accounts payable and reconciliations. This position will also support some of the regional financial activities of the Singapore finance team.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage accounting transactions on a daily and monthly basis.
- Manage monthly quarterly and year-end closing activities with immediate reporting supervisor.
- Preparing bank reconciliations for bank accounts.
- Preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accounts on Blackline.
- Preparing invoices for intercompany transactions.
- GL scrutinization regularly.
- Ensuring timely payments every week and on an ad-hoc basis.
- Assist in preparing VAT schedules (input and output) monthly.
- Filing tax returns - Stamp Duty quarterly SVAT (when required) SSCL quarterly WHT annually.
- Remitting taxes such as WHT (Monthly) stamp duty (quarterly).
- Visiting the Inland Revenue Department if required.
- Working on various ERP systems (SAP Concur Blackline & Ariba)
- Maintain finance clearance records properly for each employee.
- Managing fixed asset register movements
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting ACCA/CA/CIMA or its equivalent (Past finalist/Partly qualified)
- 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Concur Blackline & Ariba) and MS Office
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ability to work from the office independently.
