RFA Engineering () is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate out of our customers world-class engineering and manufacturing facility in Clayton NC.

Hydraulics Systems Engineer
As a Hydraulics Systems Engineer you work with the Hydraulics team to develop the system and select components on attachments for various pieces of equipment for the Work Tools Team. Experience with Creo & TeamCenter database manager is a plus.
Job Description
- Work with suppliers to develop new components to meet production needs.
- Full hydraulic system development along with component selection to optimize designs.
- Supervise detailing & releasing of components.
- Continuous improvements in cost quality safety and ergonomics.
- System innovation.
- Some time may occasionally be spent on the production line for trouble shooting as productions problems arise.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude through work experience or hobbies.
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Self-starter & ability to multi-task.
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
Desired Experience
- Experience in a production environment working with cross functional teams.
- Interpersonal & communication skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing fabrication inventory management supply chain/logistics or assembly operations.
- Microsoft Excel proficient.
- 5years relevant experience in mobile hydraulic field.

Pay Range:$75000-$120000 - Commensurate with experience.
