Seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist in Buffalo NY to oversee end-to-end logistics and asset lifecycle operations supporting hyper-scale data center infrastructure. This role ensures precise inventory control efficient material flow and uninterrupted data center operations through effective coordination of receiving shipping asset tracking and vendor management preventing delays caused by logistics or inventory gaps.
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00pm (may require on call)
- Salary: $100k - $200K/ yearly

Responsibilities- Maintain comprehensive asset tracking from receipt through decommissioning including asset tagging labeling and accurate data entry in asset management systems
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments; verify quantities inspect for damage and update tracking systems in real time
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain 99% accuracy; proactively monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
- Fulfill parts requests for data center technicians and engineers quickly and accurately
- Maintain organized staging areas for deployments break-fix activities and project materials
- Coordinate with vendors to process RMAs warranty claims and equipment replacements
- Support vendor and delivery personnel access including coordinating security escorts as required
- Generate inventory reports dashboards and performance metrics related to inventory turns accuracy and obsolescence
- Document processes and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Logistics or Business
- 3 years of experience in warehouse operations logistics inventory management or supply chain within a technology or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel SQL or other data analysis and reporting tools
- Experience supporting hyperscale data centers or large colocation providers (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with inventory management systems ERP platforms and asset tracking databases(preferred)
- Knowledge of IT hardware including servers storage networking equipment and data center components(preferred)
- Strong organizational time management and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally (preferred)
