We are seeking an experienced Solutions Design Manager to lead the development and implementation of advanced automation and warehouse technology solutions. This role blends technical design predictive analysis and project management while serving as a key liaison between engineering teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have both the technical depth to design innovative solutions and the leadership skills to manage execution and client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of automation and warehouse technology solutions ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices
- Oversee preparation of technical documentation specifications and project deliverables
- Apply predictive analysis and modeling to support solution design operational efficiency and system performance improvements
- Collaborate with clients to define requirements and present design concepts ensuring alignment throughout the implementation process
- Manage project schedules budgets and resources ensuring successful on-time delivery
- Oversee implementation phases coordinating across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support the integration of software and automation technologies into client operations
- Mentor junior engineers and analysts promoting best practices in solution design and project execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Industrial Systems or related field (BS Degree required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solutions design engineering or warehouse automation projects
- Strong knowledge of automation systems warehouse technologies and software integration
- Proficiency in creating and reviewing technical documentation and design specifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with strong project management skills; PMP certification a plus
- Excellent client interfacing presentation and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in predictive analysis and process optimization
