Receive inspect store issue and ship materials spare parts tools and consumables in a safe and secure manner
Maintain accurate inventory records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Review spare parts stock levels and ensure minimum/required quantities are maintained
Follow up on outstanding deliveries and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Perform physical inventory counts and maintain inventory records for audit purposes
Manage special tools inventory shelf locations labeling packaging and identification coding
Maintain quarantine areas and control inventory of materials stored in these areas
Ensure proper storage conditions preservation inspection cleaning and relabeling of spare parts
Maintain warehouse cleanliness organization and good housekeeping practices
Control warehouse access and maintain off-working hour entry records
Ensure all issued and returned materials are recorded based on authorized documentation
Understand and implement GE O&M Procedures (PSQMS) requirements
Maintain compliance with all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and legislative requirements
Ensure hazardous materials are received stored issued and disposed of in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and promote a safe working environment
Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager plant personnel and other departments to support predictive preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Provide recommendations for improvement of material control and warehouse management procedures
Participate in plant management meetings and Safety Committee activities as assigned
