Job Summary

Head of Enterprise IT Architecture

As Head of Enterprise IT Architecture you will lead this function within the broader IT Strategy Architecture & Security domain. Acting as a bridge between the business and the CIO organization you will work closely with transformation teams to support strategic change. You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of architects ensuring they can perform at their best. Beyond day-to-day operations your focus will be on creating clear frameworks that enable sound well-supported decision-making.

Your impact

In a sector where technology is a key differentiator this role is central to shaping the organizations digital future. You will drive transformation by maintaining a broad enterprise-wide perspective and understanding of the wider ecosystem.

Together with your team you will advise senior leadership on target architecture and define pragmatic step-by-step paths to achieve it. You will contribute directly to IT strategy build strong internal networks and ensure that projects receive appropriate architectural guidance. You will lead architectural governance and oversee a team of around 17 experienced architects enabling them to fully leverage their expertise.

What we are looking for

You have a strong ability to see the bigger picture and bring a forward-looking vision to IT architecture. You communicate clearly and diplomatically even in complex situations and are comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels. You bring structure to complexity and translate abstract challenges into concrete achievable actions.

You have experience managing experts or a strong motivation to grow in this area. You hold a masters degree and ideally have experience in enterprise or IT architecture though a strong interest in this domain is essential. You are fluent in either Dutch or French have a solid understanding of the other national language and can communicate professionally in English.
