A glimpse into your new role:
- Oversee and review the work of the current bookkeeper to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Record and post journal entries across multiple business entities.
- Perform and review bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly budget reports and profit and loss forecasts (monthly and annual).
- Create automate and oversee invoice and billing processes for multiple companies.
- Categorize and reconcile bank transactions in the accounting system.
- Generate and export financial statements including Balance Sheet Profit & Loss Statement and Cash Flow Statement.
- Perform variance analysis and other financial reporting to support management decisions.
- Maintain accurate Excel trackers and data matching sheets to ensure consistency across reports.
- Work closely with management to support financial planning audits and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in accounting workflows.
Requirements
Youll be a great fit if you have:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of solid bookkeeping or accounting experience with exposure to multi-entity or group accounting preferred.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables formulas financial modeling data reconciliation).
- Experience with Zoho Books QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail organization and accuracy.
- Strong English communication and comprehension skills.
- Proven ability to review guide and train junior accounting staff.
- Must be able to work night shift with flexible hours.
