The OpportunityThe purpose of this role is to strategically manage and develop a profitable Commercial Property portfolio of insurance products in alignment with the business plan. This involves providing leadership in product strategy pricing and portfolio management while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role also includes driving profitable growth managing resources effectively and overseeing the countrys P&L for designated business lines within the organization.

Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
The salary range for this role is between $233000-$398000.
Your New Role
Support the development of the annual business plan for the portfolio and ensure its delivery.
Ensure team awareness of the business plan and its context for informed decision-making.
Adhere to underwriting standards instructions and good practice to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
Establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Demonstrate an understanding of market dynamics and cycles to enhance business performance.
Continually develop expertise and technical knowledge through appropriate activities.
Underwrite insurance risks in accordance with the business plan and personal authority.
Contribute to the review and analysis of the portfolio to identify new business opportunities.
Ensure accurate recording of entries on Division systems for data integrity.
Manage team performance fairly and in line with the performance process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Preferred Experience:
Underwriting experience in a senior role.
Leadership experience.
Converting analysis into strategy.

Distribution experience.
Portfolio management experience.
Overseeing development of digital delivery.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the roles complexity its location and the candidates professional background including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBEs annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual encourage all candidates to apply even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
