About the Role
Our client is seeking multiple experienced Product Trainers to join their Johannesburg-based team supporting US-aligned operations. This role goes far beyond classroom facilitation and requires a strategic outcomes-driven trainer who can diagnose performance gaps design impactful learning interventions and deliver training that directly improves operational and client results.
You will collaborate closely with Operations Quality and Leadership teams to ensure employees are equipped to perform at an elite level within fast-paced high-volume environments.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct learning needs analysis aligned to business objectives performance gaps and client expectations
- Design and develop outcomes-based performance-focused learning programmes
- Create engaging learning content for instructor-led virtual and e-learning delivery
- Facilitate high-impact training sessions across product process and performance areas
- Adapt delivery styles to suit diverse audiences cultures and experience levels
- Plan coordinate and execute training initiatives end-to-end
- Create and manage training schedules in collaboration with stakeholders
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning effectiveness
- Analyse feedback and performance data to evaluate training impact
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions
- Research and implement innovative learning tools methodologies and best practices
- Build strong relationships with Operations Quality and Management teams
- Compile detailed post-training reports with insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate training records and learner documentation
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Trainer or Facilitator ideally within a BPO or contact centre environment
- Accredited Outcomes-Based Assessor and Moderator
- ODETD qualification (SETA accredited)
- Strong experience in learning design and content development
- Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning platforms
- Excellent organisational analytical and report-writing skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels
- Ability to work US-aligned hours including night shifts
- Experience delivering product-led or performance-driven training at scale (advantageous)
- Exposure to fast-paced high-performance operational environments
- Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams
